Thanksgiving Day and weekend is great for camping, family reunions and renewing friendships! Start it off by bringing $5 per person and a large covered dish to our Thanksgiving Dinner held every Thanksgiving in the Music Hall at noon. You bring your best recipes, we’ll provide the main course with plates, eating utensils and beverage. It will be a Thanksgiving you won’t soon forget and Mama will be so glad she doesn’t have to cook a huge meal.
Join us for the Kid’s Music Camp Expo! Throughout the year there are three music camps for children at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. These camps are free to children and the instruments are provided. Instruction is available for guitar, fiddle, banjo, harmonica, ukulele, drums and vocals. At Old Tyme Farm Days the Suwannee Spirit Kid’s Music Camp (SSKMC) offers this same quality instruction but in an abbreviated form. The idea is to allow as many kids as possible to experience the handling of an instrument to see if music talks to them. You can contact SSKMC about camp and to register at www.suwanneespirit.org
